Before I speak...

I see you show up before I speak

Your presence strong, evil yet weak

You need to go get out of here

I see you and I freeze with fear

I know myself, I see myself

You did not just put me on shelf

You don’t belong in this place

I’m deeply shaken by your face

I’m doing this gig without your haunt

You had needs but they weren’t my want

You had your way twisting up me

I now walk straight, live almost free

I see you show up before I speak

You don’t matter, won’t make me weak.
